"Culture(science) is the form of religion, Religion is the substance of culture(science)." -Paul Tilich
It is a most discussed subject in the present age, the relationship between Science and Religion. Many of us give opinions that science and religion oppose each other and many of us contradict this thinking saying that science and religion are same things. Now the question is what is the main relationship between science and religion? Here Sir Albert Einstein's opinion can be said -
"Science without Religion is Lame, RelReligion without Science is Blind"Meaning of this line will be understood through the whole discussion, now let's to the main question. To answer this question we have to discuss at first the definition, the aim, the effects in our daily life, the use of both science and religion.
Science is the study of nature like natural phenomena, natural changes and their effects and etc. etc.. Science stands with with experiments and proofs. In the other hand religion is spiritual feeling and faith which stands with concepts of supernatural power that governs the laws of nature. Both science and religion are related with the nature, the creation of nature and both of them explain the natural aspects with their own way. In Martin Lurhar King's words -
"Science investigates; religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge that is power; religion gives man wisdom that which is control. Science deals mainly with facts; religion deals mainly with values. The two are not rivals. They are complementary."
This lines are really truthful If observered deeply. ReliReligion is the term of faith on the super power or the almighty. A religious belief is that even a leaf can not be shaken without the permission of God. And science deals with the phenomena and the reason of the shaken leaf.
"Religion is the culture of faith, Science is the culture of doubt(Richard Fynnman)."
Science and religion are really correlated. Science provides us with a logical, factual and generally rational explanation of the World around us.Science is not about proving the non-existance of God. It is about providing a solid basis on factual, repeatable, measurable and determinable results.
In the world, the most known religions are Christianity, Islam and Hinduism. All of the religions have some rules to lead better life. All of the religions tells to know the truth, to observe up and down and to understand the creation of universe. And science is the way to know the truth. In religion there are so many concepts without any explanation but they are true in our daily life and also there are so many things that can be done in future with the help of science. Science is the method with which religion predicts the truth and move towards development; and religion is the way of humanity in which science can be developed peacefully and fruitful to the human world.
All of the scientific proofs, explanations, we may get in religious particulars in the religious text if we search. Before scientists developed their views on cosmology of the world, western culture already had an elaborate doctrine of creation, based on biblical texts. Several Christian author have attempted to integrate science and religion. They tend to interpret findings from science, such as evolutionary theories or chaos theory, in a theological light, the doctrine of creation etc. The defining characteristics of Islam is its belief in one God(Allah), who communicates through prophets, including Adam, Abraham and Muhammad (peace be upon them). Allah's revelations to Muhammad (peace be upon him) are recorded in the Qur'an, the central religious text for Islam. Next to Quran, an important source of jurisprudence and theology is the hadith. There are so many facts in Qur'an which are proved in science even the most revolutionary proof of the expanding of the universe is also written in Qur'an. From an Islamic standpoint, the study of nature is considered to be linked to the concept of Tawhid( the oneness of God), as the other branches of knowledge. In Islam, nature is not seen as a separate entity but rather as an integral part of Islam's holistic on God, humanity, and the world. In nowadays science, the main aim is to unification of all laws, that the whole universe can be described by only a law. The Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism are referred to as dramatic religions. Philosophical schools within dharma, are referred to as darshana. Many Hindus believe in personal God, and identify this God as immanent in creation. In contrast to the major monotheistic religions, Hinduism doesn't draw a share distinction between God and creation. But there is a believe a belief that cosmological position affects on people's lifecycles. There are many geometrical and mathematical concepts come from sanskrit religious text and Veda.
Christianity, Islam, and Jainism have similar creation stories, which ultimately go back to the first book of Hebrew bible (Genesis). If compare the religious aspects with science with a deep thinking then there always we get a similarity of science and religion. Till now science can not proof the existence of God but also can not deny experimentaly. In this context, Francis Bacon's words can be recognized-
"A little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes a believer in God."
Science has also the power to destroy the world, religion is to control the scientific progress. Religion always appose violence. But now a days there is a big confusion on the relationship between science and religion due to the Corruption. In Leo Backland's words -
"Science and religion have this in common that their noble aim, their power for good, have often, with wrong man, determinate into a boomerang to the human race."

Excellent 👌👍
